FAQ'S

Isn't Jesus just a myth?

No, actually many historical documents recognize the Jesus actually walked the earth. Many other religions recognize that Jesus existed and was a great teacher.

Do Christian's believe Jesus is the son of God?

Yes, Christianity is based on the truth that Jesus was who he said he was. There are only two conclusions we can come to. 1. Jesus is a lunatic because he proclaimed that he is the Son of God. 2. He really is who he said he is!

Isn't the Bible just a bunch of old dusty pages written by a couple of old guys who don't understand todays culture?

Actually, there are 66 letters or "Books" that make up the Bible. These books were written by many authors and their take on God and remarkable continuity cause one to conclude that God is real. All books were written in their specific culture and context. Yet, they all point the the truth and hope that God brings. These truths are just as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago.

Why do some books in the Bible talk about the same stories but leave out things other books have?

Imagine you and I were at oposite corners of an intersection and we witnessed an accident. When the police arrive you tell them how you saw the green truck run the light and smash into the blue car. You communicate all the details you saw from your perspective. Then I communicate that I saw. I talk about the on coming traffic. The blue truck swerving then hitting the red car. When the police get the two stories they are able to put the entire scenario together and get to the bottom of the accident. In much the same way these books of the Bible tell the story of Jesus from different views. These include cultural, physical and socio economic factors. Therefore the information difference is only perspective not missed content.
